Inspired by the energetic beats at Rise & Fever, the soulful melodies of Mo' Jazz, and the electric atmosphere of Cloudwatch, he began building his own collection, drawn to the raw energy of breaks and the smooth rhythms of jazz. His journey began with the purchase of his very first vinyl record at Music Now Records in DC during the summer of '93—a moment that ignited his lifelong love affair with vinyl. Continuously driven by the thrill of uncovering that elusive gem, Vico remains dedicated to the art of spinning vinyl records exclusively, preserving the authentic sound and feel of a bygone era. With each performance, he brings his audience on a nostalgic journey through the golden age and new refreshing vibes in sound, channeling his passion for music into every soulful groove. As Vico puts it, 'When I was little, I would always carry my portable tape player with a handle to record music and sounds from movies'—a testament to his enduring dedication to the art of sound.
