WHINO debuts the "DMV Artists and Art Lovers Meetup Group October 5th at 7pm. This group will have different fun art events where there art group members can come and mingle with other art centric individuals. We will have people in the group have WHINO stickers to identify other people in the group and start up a conversation.
Come join us at WHINO for an exciting in-person event where DMV artists and art lovers can connect, collaborate, and celebrate creativity! Whether you're a painter, sculptor, photographer, or simply appreciate art, this meetup is the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and explore the vibrant art scene in the DMV area.
At this event, you'll have the chance to mingle with fellow artists, share your work, and gain inspiration from others. Discover new techniques, styles, and perspectives.
For this meetup we will be the reception for the “Arlington Art Walk” which is occurring Thursday, October 5, from 3-7 p.m.
ABOUT ARLINGTON ART WALK
This year’s event brings back 2022 favorites Arlington Art Truck, Cody Gallery, MoCA Arlington, ARC 3409 studios, Fred Schnider Gallery, Mason Exhibitions and WHINO. Adding to the fun, the Art Walk welcomes Arlington Independent Media (AIM), The Shop at Arlington Public Library, Made in Arlington Market at MoCA, Northside Social Arlington, Public Art installations and GMU Mason Square activities. The “Arlington Art Walk” is a self-guided art experience that connects local galleries, artist studios and cultural events. During the walk, gallery hours for participating organizations will be extended so that our friends, neighbors and artists can see what we’re up to.
