The Solo Art Show Of Aaron WOES Martin
Free to the public
7pm-Midnight
Aaron “Woes” Martin was born on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu, but spent most of his childhood growing up and moving from Southern California to Nevada before finally landing back in Hawaii during his Junior year of high school. In 1998 a car accident changed everything; this life-threatening experience inspired him to leave the island once again, this time heading to Seattle, Washington. Inspired by the people, rain and being indoors, he started playing around with different art mediums again. He then returned to Hawaii with a new perspective.
With his passion for travel and painting, Aaron had his first show in 2002 and has showed his work in galleries across the US mainland as well as Asia, South East Asia, South Pacific and all over Europe. Aaron has worked with companies & collectives such as Disney, Mind Style Toys, Flab Slab, Kidrobot, Fitted Hawaii /New Era, Kicks Hawaii, In4mation Hawaii and Fandango. Additionally he has been published in magazines in the US, Japan & Europe. Aaron has also worked with children and has given lectures at both schools and art universities without attending an arts college himself.
